HijackAnother day, another sabotage of the real issues Stockwell needs to address during these 'difficult times.' I'm even starting to sound like a Love Me I'm A Liberal broadsheet columnist now. Today was no more 'difficult' for me than it was seven days ago. In fact it was a bit of a breeze knowing that my six weeks of school free fun starts after tomorrow.

I doubt that the family and friends of Mr de Menezes are finding it so easy. To continue with my chattering class columnist style, I think I'm supposed to say something sincere like 'we must give them time to grieve.'

Granted, but PLEASE make sure that the assorted hijackers of the whole Stockwell situation stay out of SW8. Question politicians at Westminster; probe the police at New Scotland Yard; get pissed in your usual Soho wanky meeja den. Just don't do it on my doorstep please.

Stockwell is NOT the issue here. The issue is an ugly boiling pot of terrorist twats, questionable police policy and a 'pained' media who enjoy staring at cameras and looking solemn in a part of South London that in their shallow little world of word counts and captions, they don't really give a shit about. Shame we can't service you with any Starbucks around here.

There 'aint no war in Stockwell

Today we had the Stop the War coalition campaigning outside Stockwell tube with a 'mass demonstration' early evening. Stop the War? WHAT War? There 'aint no war in Sunny Stockwell, bruv.

The police kept a low profile; not so the knobber meeja whores who once again objected to me pointing my camera in their face. It takes two to tango you clueless twats.

The 'war' might not have been stopped (or even started), but the tube station certainly was with the padlocks across the gates locked during peak time. Just what the locals need on their commute home. We've had enough disruption around these parts thank you very much.

And so early evening on a dull July day, Stockwell tube came to a standstill. I'm still not entirely sure why. To remember an innocent man? To score political points against Mr Tony? Or to fill more column space with misguided views on SW8, written by people who previously wouldn't come to visit us down here in South London even if you paid them to.

Blood money?
