Mr Howard Comes to Brixton

I don't think that the nice Mr Howard would like Brixton Road. I certainly didn't see the Tory twat in SW9 as I was taking snaps on Friday afternoon. I did see a Nasty Party poster though:

In the unlikely event that anyone from Conservative Head Office is reading, the 'great unwashed' means oiks like me and not, you know, darkies. It's not racist to suggest that some people ought to engage with a bar of soap more often. But I bet it would sound racist coming out of the mouth of some Tory knobber.
The positioning of the poster in Brixton probably wasn't the brightest idea that some spotty faced Tory Boy fresh out of Oxbridge has ever had. I don't know who the prospective Parliamentary candidate for Brixton is, but even with New Labour knobber Kate Tally Hoey currently sitting in the seat, they've as much chance of painting Brixton blue as Mr Howard has of getting his hands on the keys to No 10.
Mr Howard did actually visit Brixton last year and a friend was at hand to give him an 'SW9 handshake.' He was sitting inside a BBC outside broadcast van outside the Ritzy, about to give a radio interview.
Much to the surprise of my friend, she found the door to the van open. She poked her head around the door and saw the Tory leader and half a dozen BBC techie types sitting inside. Totally blanking out Mr Howard, she asked one of the techies:
'Who are you about to interview?'
'Um, Michael Howard,' came the reply.
'Oh, not that fucking Tory TWAT!' was her response.
I don't think the interview went too well.
