A peaceful protest by a bunch of Brazilians outside Stockwell tube on Sunday morning. It was more of a vigil for Jean Charles de Menezes than any kind of uprising. The South London rain kept it low profile, although there was a strong police (and meeja knobbers) presence.
The only spot of bother came when mrs onionbagblogger was returning from softball practise (yeah, I know...) on Clap'ham Common. She was stopped by cop and asked:
'Madam, is there a reason why you are carrying a baseball bat?'
Her response of:
'If I wasn't carrying it, it would fall on the floor' was priceless.
